NGN 1,500 is what NHIA pays accredited providers for this service, not the cash price at a hospital’s front desk. Out-of-pocket prices, especially at private facilities, are usually higher. To use the scheme rate you need an NHIA plan through an accredited HMO. Medicines are covered separately, on the NHIA drug list.
